We said we’d look into it. Then the publisher then chipped in, telling the student to make sure the library got in touch with them and they’d love to supply it!

But when we got in touch, the publisher said that actually they couldn’t sell us the book as an individual ebook. The only way we could provide it for our students would be to subscribe to one of their packages. The cost?

The cost is £3,682.40. And that’s ‘discounted’ by 60%.
