I know your readers may want to know what celebrities think so they can think the same, but respectable news outlets should be better than perpetuating this harmful desire by constantly reporting on the opinions of singers and actors on subjects other than singing and acting. 3/4
Celebrities should also know better than to voice strong opinions about subjects they aren't qualified to comment on, but that's more unrealistic than wanting newspapers to stop amplifying their ignorance.

I realize the irony of finishing this thread with a comment by a celebrity, but he's making the argument that you shouldn't listen to celebrities like him on topics that he isn't qualified to comment on, so here the celebrity opinion is highly relevant...
