Being a business owner is no joke especially when you take great pride in centring your community. But when business owners within your community disrespect you it really hurts. I've been through it before(not anymore) but when I see it now it really upsets me.

Especially the ones who are loud about 'community' or use language in their branding to appear to be all about 'us' but behind the scenes they treat 'us' with little to no respect.

I've seen so many awful things. We thank God for rest and resilience because otherwise...

The worst part is that we have a culture of silencing and being silenced in our communities.

Dare to speak up and you're called a hater or enemy of progress or simply unsupportive. Anyway I'm glad to see people speaking up.
