Imma let you finish but HBO Max judging success off new subscriber numbers and not viewing numbers makes no sense to me.
For example, I signed up to Netflix back when Daredevil dropped. I haven’t cancelled but by their business model I wouldn’t count even though I’ve constantly given money to them.
Also my first breakdown of TFATWS got me more subscribers than my finale breakdown did. But my Finale breakdown got way more views.

I dunno, just seems a weird way to judge stuff. Lots of DC Fans probably signed up for WW84 and didn’t cancel.
Also GVK came out the week after and it doesn’t look like that gained them that many new subs either. Just such a strange metric to judge whether something is successful or not.
To me it seems much better to count subscriber retention if you aren't gonna count.

Much better to have one person paying X amount of dollars per month for years and years than it is to have 100 people sign up for one month and then cancel.
