Just had a thread where I was attacked by the people whose cause I was agreeing with because they were too hell bent on holding onto their victim grudges to find a real solution. Why I don't much bother anymore. If the world insists on being stupid the world can suffer for it.

I say repeatedly that I don't have a side in this culture war, and this was a fine example of why. People care more about finding someone to blame than they do about solving problems. This right here is why I left politics in the first place.

I saw long ago that people were far more interested in doing what made them feel good about themselves than they were in fixing their problems. This thread proved that nothing's changed. Right now people would rather be angry than constructive. Go ahead. But do it without me.
