the first game features ellie, a lesbian deurotagonist/protagonist (in dlc) and the second game features her as a protagonist in the second game, with her bisexual girlfriend deurotagonist dina. the game also features lev, a trans man!

life is strange

along with before the storm, life is strange 2, and upcoming life is strange 3, the franchise has really great lgbt representation! the first game features max, a bisexual photography student, and chloe, a cool, punk lesbian! the other games feature ++

rachel amber, a bisexual love interest for chloe (before the storm) and sean, a bisexual protagonist (life is strange 2) there’s not much to say about the 3rd game, since it’s not released yet, but it does feature steph, a geeky lesbian

the walking dead game

despite it’s complications and bugs, this game has really good lgbt representation! judy is a lesbian and a romance option ONLY for female v, and kerry is a gay (or bisexual, can’t remember) man and can be romanced by male v

assassin’s creed: odyssey

in this game, you can either play as kassandra or alexios. to my knowledge, if you play as kassandra, you can romance kyra, which would make her sapphic (i’m not exactly sure what her sexuality is, but she would fall under sapphic)

the game features trevor philips as a playable character/protagonist. although it’s not confirmed, it’s hinted in the game that he’s bisexual ++

based on his actions and optional conversations where he’s asked if he’s gay, and he answers “that’s what i am; whatever makes me happy”

there’s also some scenes where he’s seen spooning a male character, but this could just be his personality

red dead redemption 2

bill williamson is hinted to be gay throughout the game. in one conversation, hosea can be found saying “that’s like arthur and martha. or bill and phil”
you can also read one of his military discharge papers, which says he was discharged for “deviancy” ++

which back then, being gay was considered an act of deviancy.

arthur also jokes when bill bumps into someone in a bar “is he about to kiss this guy or punch him?”

also during the game, he seems to have a crush on someone at the camp. you’ll have to play to learn more
