Writing some things down for my own reasons. If you care to read, it may give you a bit better understanding to my personal philosophy & approach.

Please note: This is never intended to be about any of us.
Autonomy feels closer to my soul every day.

No Gods. No Masters. No Leaders.
Activism ≠ Job

I have seen activism monetized several times. I have NEVER seen it work. I have seen fractured relationships, rifts, distrust, jealousy, anger, people feeling left out, and power grabs.
Power vacuums can occur, when someone has (intentionally or not) gathered too much influence or social capital.

If that person is not around, others that relied on them, may feel they need another "go-to".

Someone else may try to be that "Leader". IMO? NOPE.
On social media, people who leverage different platforms, sometimes end up with a disproportionate number of followers.

I believe in scrubbing follows, followers and believe that blocking people I don't like or don't trust, is a good thing.
I believe that accumulating followers from this work and operating anonymously, is a privilege, not a right.

It means that while it may be "my" account, if some day I wake up and say, "F it! Mask off! Here's me!" - this isn't the platform to do it with.
I believe that people are valuable & human rights should be equal and universal.

I also believe there are graveyards filled with remains of people who considered themselves indispensable.
I believe that activists who operate anonymously, without declaring a location must build *really* solid relationships with people who live in those communities, and try to steer clear of running off at the mouth about local politics, beefs & relationships.
I believe in gauging peoples' behavior over time. I believe in supporting and embracing radicalization. I believe people have the ability to grow from mistakes, and I believe it is our responsibility to address problematic situations as we deem appropriate as we see them.
I believe hoarding information makes you a target and a liability.

I believe disclosing who you talk to, where you talk to them, or what your circles look like make you a opsec nightmare.
I think remembering why I'm here is important in what I do, where I'm focused, and what's needed to the people in this work toward liberation.

I believe that for the most part, priority is best spent on what others care about vs. what I care about.
I believe that if someone violates trust repeatedly, or say one thing and do another, or are not receptive to hearing something critical, they need to work on their own self-awareness.

If they won't, they are a danger to all of us.
I believe some things have an inside voice and some have an outside voice.

I believe there is some shit you should keep to yourself for multiple reasons. I believe knowing when to do that is a combination of common sense, and learning over time.
I believe in apologizing when you mean it. Sometimes it's private. Sometimes it's public.

I believe in gathering thoughts from others before doing things. Diversity of thought and input is, in fact, a strength.
I believe I have more to learn than many.

I believe I can help others by supporting, sharing and listening.

I believe sometimes a good defense is the best offense. I also believe that sometimes complete evisceration is the best offense.
I believe male-supremacy & patriarchy are REAL problems. I believe white, cishet, males can be more harmful than virtually any other group. (Not only, just primarily)

I'm FAR from perfect, but every day I will work on being a better, less toxic male.
I believe Black Lives Matter. I believe Black Trans Lives Matter. Until Black Lives Matter, others life doesn't lose meaning.

Black Trans Liberation is Liberation for ALL OF US.

It means white silence = white consent. It means if you are an ally, "we need to go get our people"
I believe WE MUST ABOLISH THE POLICE. They are brutal & corrupt, built on a foundation of White Supremacy, valuing property over people & protecting a capitalist structure & ruling class; locking people up so quickly, that 4.4% of the world population has 22% of it's prisoners
I believe in you. I believe you are worthy. I believe we should walk side by side.

I believe I need to hear your stories...and I want you to know, I expect you to tell me where I need to do better.

Complete Solidarity. 🖤♥️
