Some people are way, way too dismissive of Joe Cunningham's chances. He is an underdog no doubt but he has demonstrated an ability to outrun the ticket in two highly competitive federal races. That does not mean he will win people should acknowledge he is a strong candidate.

People keep saying "but Jamie Harrison". Well Jamie Harrison didn't run for Governor so I'm not clear on what he has to do with any of this

TLDR version: Cunningham is a solid candidate in an uphill battle but it's worth watching. Is McMaster a heavy favorite? Yes. Can I rule out an upset? No.
