I'm gonna tell you a little story... the story of my first few months on stan twt. +

I became an Army in 2017 after watching them perform DNA on the AMAs.

I spent the first two years FIRMLY down the rabbit hole of YouTube/vlive content and old BVG/Memories/ Concert DVD content i found posted around.+

I lurked Army twt on my private personal account for a long time but was afraid to join bc I had heard how toxic/young/etc the fandom was from gp.

I didn't make my first stan account until early 2019. And my first few months here are exactly what I expected. +

I was surrounded by super young fans who were always angry about something.

I fell into a crowd of TaeJin solo mantis who absolutely convinced me that Taejin were being victimized by the company and other members+

The thing is... it didn't match with what I had already learned about the group on my own from THEM themselves. So I was confused and stressed but ultimately wasn't seeing any dissenting opinions to the solo mantis I was surrounded by...+

I was also terrified to ask any questions bc they were so quick to cancel ANYONE who questioned their narrative even a little.

"Don't you love Tae and Jin? If you're really OT7 then you should just do it!"

So I kept my mouth shut...+

and helped them push their narrative thinking I was protecting Tae and Jin. "Being a good OT7".... when really I was helping solo mantis demonize other members and OT7 Armys.+

If it weren't for me finding @hyyhdddaeng and adult Army twt...I might've ended up a solo manti.

Seeing a 2015 army so vehemently disagree with that narrative was what snapped me out of it and made me start remember what the boys had shown me in their own content!+

So I'm asking y'all...PLEASE don't disenfranchise new fans right off the bat and PLEASE if you think sheepmy might be willing to listen TALK TO THEM.

They might already be questioning and are just afraid to get canceled by their solo manti moots. +
