Quick points of reflection:
Many white converts in the Muslim community experience coddling, are placed on pedestals, or are made into scholars way before their time, whilst Black converts endure anti-Black racism. This is how white supremacy is reproduced in our communities.

I personally feel the conversations are skewered. White converts benefit from white supremacy, but that’s not to say they don’t experience an othering. However, for me personally, I have very little interest in playing into that.
We’ve seen time and time again that white Muslim converts either deny white supremacy altogether or enable it via right-wing tropes. I’m not saying I have it right yet, but I feel energies need to be directed in tackling white supremacy and anti-Blackness first.
White supremacy and anti-Blackness are literally killing people. Hurting white feelings is not.
