Some examples: paloma is Spanish for dove. And pigeon. English drew a line down the middle of paloma and now has 2 words for what is 1 thing in Spanish. Also colours are FUCKY in language and almost no languages agree on exactly what red is or where it becomes purple
Texts translated from ancient Greek will call things "red" when the original meaning was more like "dark" and gold is often described as green, so no translation really isn't as simple as using the word that means the same thing lmao
