You guys miss out on a lot of interesting tweets because I can't figure out how to weave some of my thoughts into a vaguely ironic joke or a tweet with subtly pathetic undertones.

I'd say it's tough having a specific sense of humor but it's really not. I tweet for myself. This account is like a diary I happen to let people read.

In terms relevant to the Sociolinguistics homework I turned in earlier today, you're all overhearers, not addressees.

I laugh at 99% of my own tweets. I like going through my own tweets every few days because everything I tweet has a distinctive undertone of self-aware irony.

I even think this thread is vaguely funny if you can believe that.
