Scott Morrison *speaking as PM* claims: "God has a plan for Jenny!"

Jenny Morrison is not elected.

Nobody voted for her - or her views.

The Australian public has no investment in the PM's wife who, like the Governor General, seems to take up a lot of public money to do nothing

In true Trump nepotistic fashion, he told the public - while speaking as the Prime Minister - that God plans his wife's public influence.

And yet we have a media operating under quaint, pre-Trump rules where reporting on a politician's spouse is "off-limits."

Which he exploits.

If Scott Morrison wants to drag his wife up when it suits him - as both a manipulation tactic & a protective shield, if he wants to use her to influence Australia & his Prime Ministership - then he can answer questions about her.

And the media can subject her to some scrutiny.
