RAMBLING MORE ABOUT c!PURPLED LORE BECAUSE I'VE FINALLY BEEN FED - A NEW AND VERY LONG THREAD /DSMP /RP

OK SO FIRST OF ALL this is the best day of my life . I've waited five million years for this moment BUT ANYWAYS I have a lot to say about his role during the Red Banquet... and more of how I view his morals + his relationships with other characters

Elaborating on my first thread, I view Purpled as a sort of child soldier (yes I'm insinuating that bedwars is canon in dsmp and is a distant sort of gladiator battleground program) who is still a part of it, explaining why he only visits the smp when he's really needed (paid).

It would further explain his motives being driven by money over morals and his desensitization towards violence. He's used to following orders and just doing his job, such as when be was working for Manberg :P

BUT every once in a while we get to see glimpses of individual thought, as Purpled occasionally makes choices against what he's told because it's what he believes is right. Whether its sparing people, or not fighting until provoked, he still has a heart suppressed by his training

So now onto the Red Banquet. We all know he teamed with Quackity and Techno because they "had the better price", but his behavior compared to his last lore appearance really stands out to me... he cared more!!!

When he was hired by the Eggpire he seemed really unsure about it, keeping himself distant and only being convinced by Ponk saying they will be "set for life". Even then, Purpled was very tense and made sure not to get too close to Bad and the others

The thing is, he didn't even carry out the deal, as Puffy was unharmed. We don't see him again until the Red Banquet, where not only does he fight against the Eggpire but he also helps the others get out safely by leading the way and digging a tunnel

He stayed close to Quackity and Techno, giving his own thoughts on stopping the egg and how to save everyone. I feel that even with the money aside, Purpled cares more about being on this side of the fight and believes he's doing the right thing this time

This brings me back to Ponk, and how Purpled considers him a very close friend who he trusts a great deal. Despite that, I think Purpled has enough of an understanding about the egg's influence (maybe Quackity told him about Bad?) to know that Ponk isn't being himself right now

Purpled even said "we've seen what it can do", so he could be motivated to save his friend from the infection? Similar to Quackity wanting to save Bad, they miss how they used to be

Another duo I want to mention: I also view Techno to have the same origin as Purpled with bedwars, but Techno being older and not a part of it anymore. We've seen moments between these two before, and I feel like this team-up has a lot of potential

Two child soldiers both hired by Quackity to stop a force that they all have problems with... both apathetic, monotone, and raised by war... they probably see so much in common between each other... yes I'm crazy <3

BUT ANYWAYS I believe he was more driven to support the anti-egg side because it's what he believes is right, because even with the money aside he was working harder to protect the people hurt at the banquet. I like Purpled OK end of thread SORRY
