. @GYamey The immediate term supply bottlenecks of single use reactors bags, filters, culture media etc. for India based Vx manufacturers will get resolved over the next few weeks. But for the medium term we need a careful review of the structure of Vx manuf networks.

Allowing unrestricted (or less restricted) flow of single use reactors bags, filters, culture media, consumables & ingredients is important to maintain (and expand) Vx manuf capacity in existing global sites. For potential new sites in AFR/LAC, its a diff set of constraints (2/4)
For expanding Vx manufacturing network to new production sites, say in AFR & LAC, the binding constraint is insufficient supply of skilled CMC people. This is hard to solve for in the short term. But we do need to start making investments to solve this in the medium term (3/4)
Manuf network expansion into new regions also creates additional Qs about multi-product plants, manufacturing flexibility, sustainability & price parity w existing large producers. No robust answers yet, but many colleagues across diff orgs are starting to explore in-depth. (4/4)
