Like I would doubt very much that there's a simple relationship between staying put and wealth, but I think there's probably some relationship. The exceptions feel satisfyingly surprising though, and I catch myself giving undue weight to thoughts that have this quality.
Like people might've initially thought "rich people don't do x" but the exception is so illustrative that the rule gets forgotten.
Rich people also often have the ability to stay put in terms of their jobs but obviously just take up discretionary travel.
