A lot of people are talking about Lindsey Graham denying the existence of systemic racism, but most of it misses the point.

Conservatism is built on certain principles that must be maintained or it falls.

If there is such a thing as systemic racism, what are they to do with their positions on law-and-order, immigration, capitalism, taxation...? Just about everything they claim to stand for. 2/3
If he's wrong, the entire conservative worldview shatters and falls.

He believes what he believes because he HAS to. He can no more accept systemic racism than he could deny the existence of God. 3/3
