Before the war begins, I want you to give my points to this discussion. https://twitter.com/jojolioo/status/1386400767834169347
One Piece and MHA have excellent worldbuilding aspects and people again are expecting to diss MHA's worldbuilding.
One Piece will win for it's external worldbuilding (subtle internal) and MHA will win on internal worldbuilding.
External world building means about the geography, climate, such and such you learn in Geology.
Internal worldbuilding focuses on laws, cultures, taboos, society, gender roles, food, politics, media, technology, everything is here.
I'm not dissing OP's internal worldbuilding, but I see the subtle's of it in the anime and manga, that has a wide range of inspiration of cultures and totally needed.
While you can argue MHA's external is totally poor, I'm glad that Horikoshi didn't overworked just for external and deep dive to the internal aspects of it.
And you may say things like this and that, I'm glad that both series have the necessary world building and not too much bloated.
Extension: It's the aspect that one and the other excels.
They are just tie because it serves the story they want to tell.
I rest this.
Another argument:
There are people that are taken off that every island has almost the same government, but WG is a thing.
Simple nuances that I just remember taken me off making this thread.
