The NYPD is now making it a practice of stripping women & femmes of their clothes while enacting brutal arrests. This includes making these women & femmes stand naked / undressed while standing in front of hundreds of other officers. This has happened 3x’s in the last week alone.
When all of them asked for assistance / female officers their requests were denied. This is state- sanctioned sexual violence upon protestors exercising their 1st amendment rights. This is unacceptable and we should all be outraged.
Here is a message (shared with consent) of the woman who was stripped naked on the bridge last night & made to stand there naked while in handcuffs in front of hundreds of other officers after being pepper sprayed in the face (w/ no relief given) and hit in the head with batons.

She was fired from her job yesterday due to being arrested during this incident.
