!! how do i keep myself motivated to exercise/burn 400+ calories everyday? :)
; a thread <3
this first one is a bit obvious, but it's essential for the other things to make sense lol!
1. find fun workouts!

something that really helped me "get on track" was not thinking as my workouts as something painful/boring to do... i personally really enjoy dance, hiit and arm workouts. but maybe u're the type of person who enjoys "slower" workouts so
don't go based of by me! here are some channels that i really enjoy and would recommend if u like the same type of workouts as me!

extra: if you like dance workouts, just dance works as a cardio workout and u don't have to have the game, there are a lot of dances on yt!
2. don't do everything at once

if you're a beginner, u're probably going to get tired easily so don't go doing everything at once! you can do a 15min workout after you wake up, another one in the afternoon, and one before going to bed! it doesn't really matter, just take
breaks between them. something i personally do is that i do a 10-20min workout and then watch an episode of the tv show i’m currently watching and do another workout after it until i’m satisfied with myself!
3. light exercises on rest days

if u're sore from a workout (it will happen a lot if u're sedentary and starting now) go for something light on rest days like going for a 30-60min walk or yoga/stretching! it helps w blood circulation so it will help ur muscles recover!
also, something that rlly helps w sore muscles are hot showers!
4. extras

- remember to always drink water, staying hydrated is important specially when u're exercising

- it's better to eat and burn the calories than to don't eat and don't exercise bc then nutrients "go through" ur body
before doing all of this i used to hate working out (like oct-dec of 2020) but now it's something i quite enjoy!
