My bet is there are a lot of behavioral factors that are hidden behind these outcomes and this is what nobody’s talking about.

Me getting married at 22 and settling into a boring but well-paying career at 23 certainly had nothing to do with my “household wealth accumulation”.
Is anyone giving young people these days the straight talk about the cumulative effects of two people in a stable relationship pooling resources for, say, one extra decade?

No. Everyone’s just “too young” to “commit” to anything: marriage, children, job, boring life...
