To be clear, that's not an unfunny joke format. But specifically, the one you were about to post is not funny.

Because you read a tweet where somebody made a joke about French and exclusive regional place names and you thought, "I know a joke about those things." and were about to painfully shoehorn in bread or toast or something, resulting in some painfully forced nonsense.
