Now that folks have had a few days "post Super League" to think about community football clubs, I'd suggest you look to your favorite team's supporter trust as a way to make a difference.
My beloved @NorwichCityFC Canaries are owned by a local legend and have a great relationship with the supporters and community, which means all the more reason to invest in a supporter's trust now to continue to build upon something great.
the wild thing is how inexpensive a @canariestrust membership is. £12/year (roughly $17) or £150 (roughly $210) for a lifetime membership. Why should somebody join? Here's the why. Currently, the trust is the 12th largest shareholder in the club, with a goal to get to 10th soon.
The trust is a member of the @WeAreTheFSA and has a very healthy dialogue with the FO of the club. And being a trust member matters.
The point being, the Canaries are a great community club building things the right way. And continuing that is paramount, especially in a world of hyper corporatized sport. So join the trust and ensure that one community club continues for decades to come: https://www.canariestrust.org/memberships
