Biden's being underwater on taxes and spending is not what you'd expect given the polling for the COVID and infrastructure plans. His numbers on guns and immigration are really awful. The thing to watch is if those start dragging him down once COVID fades.

Better than Trump, but way behind Bush and Obama. And this is just adults. His RV numbers are worse. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/meet-the-press/poll-100-days-biden-s-approval-remains-strong-can-honeymoon-n1265199
Biden 46 - 41 Trump on the 2020 recalled vote. Someone tell Morning Consult it is possible to get that right. But you have to want to get it right, which MC doesn't. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/meet-the-press/poll-100-days-biden-s-approval-remains-strong-can-honeymoon-n1265199
As long as the pandemic remains the salient issue, Biden's strong numbers on that will keep his overall approval afloat. The question is what happens if and when it starts to fade and an issue where his numbers are bad like immigration comes to the fore. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/04/25/biden-100-days-poll/
Americans love the idea of bipartisanship, but they don't actually give a damn about it. The same is true of smaller government. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/04/25/biden-100-days-poll/
Biden's numbers are the worst of any non-Trump recent president. Save Bush 43, their numbers all came down and they all lost seats in midterms. You can argue Biden's just starting where the others wound up. Maybe. But if he erodes like they did, look out. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/04/25/biden-100-days-poll/
Interesting contrast between ABC News and the Washington Post on how they present their poll. WaPo doesn't mention that Biden's approval is mediocre compared to his predecessors until deep into its write-up. ABC News has that info in the headline. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/bidens-100-days-low-end-approval-strong-marks/story?id=77218406
WaPo's opening paragraph isn't particularly rosy, but it's positively Pollyannaish compared to the first two of the ABC News report. Biden's at 52 percent approval yet it's described as "tepid." Oof. I do wish they'd included a generic ballot question.
