THE 5 PILLARS OF MASCULINE SELF-IMPROVEMENT

How to go from complete loser to winning at life

// THREAD //
1. HABITS

By habits, I mean small adjustments to your daily life.

Do you masturbate a lot? Stop it.

Do you watch porn? Cut that shit out.

Do you eat a lot of sugar? Stop buying stuff that contains it.

Are you waking up at noon? Fix your damn sleep schedule.
These things are massive energy drains.

You will NOT be able to do anything listed after this unless you have your habits sorted out.

Start small, take it step by step, day by day.

If you relapse, don& #39;t sweat it. We are only human.
As you begin to implement these habits, you& #39;ll notice a rise in energy and vitality.

Your testosterone levels will skyrocket.

You& #39;ll get back that "OOMPH" that makes you a MAN.

Once you have an abundance of energy that needs to be spent, you are ready to move on.
2. LIFTING

I recommend lifting to everyone.

Why?

i) It teaches you the PROCESS of learning a skill. There is research to do, terminology to learn, and most importantly, work to put in.

ii) It boosts your confidence and testosterone. Lifting will literally make you MORE MANLY.
iii) It fulfills our primal need as men to be big and strong. There& #39;s a reason that alpha males in the animal kingdom are the strongest and most muscular.

Lifting will make you feel accomplished, even when you aren& #39;t.

It is the bridge that turns you from NOTHING into SOMETHING.
"But MS, gyms are closed in my country because of the lockdowns!"

Doesn& #39;t matter.

Google & #39;bodyweight fitness& #39;.

There are millions of exercises you can do.

Push-ups, pull-ups, dips, one legged squats, rows, planks, etc..

There really are NO EXCUSES to stay weak and inactive.
3. SKILLS

Okay, so you& #39;ve packed on some muscle and aren& #39;t a complete degenerate. What now?

It& #39;s time to become USEFUL to society.

To be useful, you have to become proficient in a skill. There& #39;s no way around it.

You are as useful as what you can do FOR people.
(If you are in a STEM program in college or learning a trade, skip this step. You& #39;ve got this covered.)

My suggestions?

Learn:

-a trade
-coding
-web design
-affiliate marketing
-video editing
-etc...

Pick anything in relatively high demand that can make you MONEY.
You have the internet at your fingertips.

There are millions of free courses out there.

This isn& #39;t the 90& #39;s anymore. You have no excuses.

Learn something and become GOOD at it.

This is what will set you apart as a useful member of society, and not just some gym rat on NoFap.
4. HOBBIES

I want to emphasize one thing.

For the purposes of this thread, a skill and a hobby are NOT the same.

Hobbies are done purely for entertainment purposes.

You are not going to monetize your hobbies.

However, a hobby should still enhance your quality of life.
It should not be a brain drain like Netflix or video games.

Pick a hobby that you like which ALSO stimulates you intellectually.

Examples:

-read books
-learn an instrument
-learn a language
-study a martial art

The list goes on...

The goal is to become an INTERESTING PERSON.
"Why should I care about being interesting?"

Because being interesting will create more opportunities for you socially and career-wise.

You can be a genius programmer, but if you don& #39;t have a clue about anything outside of your field, people will think you& #39;re a damn weirdo.
5. ROMANCE

I left this for last, because it& #39;s honestly THE LEAST IMPORTANT.

Don& #39;t be the guy who& #39;s clubbing every weekend chasing skirts even though his life is a mess.

Girls are a distraction. You should not even think about them if you haven& #39;t gotten the first 4 figured out.
You see, young guys get it mixed up.

They bend over backwards chasing girls and learning pick up lines and other nonsense.

The truth is, if you:

1) have good habits
2) are in fantastic shape
3) make a good living
4) have interesting hobbies

Women will be ALL OVER YOU.
Every cutie at work or wherever will be flirting with you.

For the more shy ones, you just have to say hi and ask them out, and they& #39;re all yours.

But keep your eyes on the prize, bros.

Women are not the end goal.

They are simply a reward for your hard work.
Sounds simple enough?

It is, on paper.

The truth is, these steps can take you YEARS at a time.

Don& #39;t be discouraged if you get stuck at any one of them.

Keep working hard, and I guarantee you will emerge a new man in 5 years.

Remember bros: marathon, not a sprint.
