Markets, like life in general are a game of incentives. The incentives for artists to enter this space are very high. For digital artist to be able to sell their art in this way is probably the biggest incentive there is, creative freedom and self-fulfilment.

That& #39;s the reason why artists learn about crypto, metamask, minting, metadata, platforms, scarcity and so on. The incentive for collectors is not nearly as high! I would say the biggest percentage of collectors are crypto investors, like me and artists probably by now.

We have only a few platforms that support credit card payments and for all others you need a wallet and ETH. This by itself is a mayor entry barrier. This incentive imbalance leads to a massive imbalance in supply and demand.

We have so many projects, plus so many new artists entering the space, plus the hype around NFTs which is accelerating the whole process and at the same time attracts not so serious people that are looking for a way to make money quickly.

So sales slowing down as well as people loosing money, because of bad buys is sadly a part of the cycle. Now i will come to the part, why this is not so bad after all.

I see the collaborations and how inspired artists are, which makes this space so cultural relevant. I can& #39;t begin to imagine where this movement will lead us, but living in a world where creative creators have more power can& #39;t be a bad thing.

I believe taking responsibility is a big part of empowerment and a necessary step toward more freedom and fairness. We have incredible tools in this space, that most of the artist i talk to, don& #39;t even know about. So i urge you, stick around, learn, explore, be curious.
