A breakdown and thoughts on Damian's DCAMU arc - Thread
Son of Batman

It all begins with the fall of Damian's old life. Ra's is dead and the League of Assassins have been crippled. Talia leaves Damian in the care of Bruce.

This is where Damian begins to forge a relationship with Bruce and learn some of his values.
Bruce makes him the new Robin to teach him.

He's entitled and condescending but he's been brought up to be that way. The heir to the world.

By the end of the film he's beginning to respect Bruce and his ways and wants to stay with him as Robin.
Batman VS Robin

Damian has been with Batman for a few months at this point. They are building trust but there's still a lot of teething problems. Mainly, that Bruce doesn't show him trust. Even after Damian tries so hard to fight his nature and to honour Batman's ways.
Then someone comes along and offers him everything he's wanted. Permanently dealing with criminals and a trusting team relationship.

Even being pushed away by Bruce and welcomed by another, he still sticks to what deep down he knows is right.

Justice. Not vengeance.
He goes through somewhat of an identity crisis.

If Son of Batman is his journey of breaking away from being Ra's jr.

Batman VS Robin is his breaking away from being Batman jr.

He needs to find himself and he can't do that when he's constantly being expected to be someone else.
By the end of the film Bruce learns to trust in Damian. They've solidified their father/son bond. Letting him set off to find himself, trusting he'll come back when he's ready, because HE wants to come back.
Batman Bad Blood

We see a much different Damian in Bad Blood. Still Damian through and through but he's a lot more sure of who he is and at peace. Having been at a monastery and learning that Batman hasn't been seen for awhile. He returns to Gotham to check on his father.
He's not longer conflicted about his identity, morality or family. He knows who he is and his family is in trouble.

He fights for justice, not vengeance.
Teen Titans VS Justice League

Damian can work with his family but he's Damian. He can't work very well on a team and he's never been friends with kids his own age. Enter the Teen Titans.

Again, it's a story of Damian learning to fit into this new structure and let people in.
Raven having similar parentage issues and sunny disposition bonds with Damian and he becomes close with her and the rest of the team as they hang out and fight side by side.

He's learnt how to be a kid. How to make friends. How to be a team player. How to be a Teen Titan.
Teen Titans Judas Contract

Damian's arc comes full circle here. He's not as big a focus in this film. But he tries to be to Terra what Raven was for him. Having been in that position where his past made it difficult for him to fit in and had the team accept him despite how
things started out. He let's Terra know that he's here for her and knows what she's going through and that the team is her family. He tells her she's being fed lies like he was. He even gets defensive about her throwing it all away, almost like he's talking to his past self.
I think it's worth drawing a little line in the sand here since the extraordinary circumstances of the next film.

This is Damian Wayne's character journey throughout these films.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War

It's a little bit difficult to figure out what Damian's been doing in the past 2 years since the world went to hell. He's reformed the League Of Assassins. Hd tries to revive Dick who died saving him who he calls his brother.
He angry with Superman for leading them to defeat but thanks to Raven he's willing to listen.

Damian joins them trying to save the world as he wants to save his father or at least stop him from hurting others (A nice call back to Bad Blood).
He dies saving Batman from Darksied. He's thankful for his father for teaching him a better way and his last words are "Justice. Not vengeance.".

He's later revived by Raven who and the two later share a kiss. They've had a romance building for some time.
So this is where we leave this Damian.

From the murderous kid who refused to listen or work with others and struggled with his identity and family ties.

To someone who will go to the ends of the earth to try to savs his family. Someone who loves and is loved.
Someone who works well on a team and values his teammates. Someone who will extend olvie branches to others who are in situations he's been in. Someone who knows who he is.

Justice. Not Vengeance.
He came and very long way over the course of six films.
