The Regime is built on a foundation of false assumptions, a web of lies, a veil of trickery
these all exist in people& #39;s minds like physical edifices, damming the natural flow of thought and channeling it into pre approved areas

take something that your "target" person accepts as true
then use that truth to show how a false assumption implanted by the regime is wrong
socrates would start with truth, and then ask questions which revealed the assumption or false accusation to be absurd

Absurdity and humor are probably the highest forms of this technique
if you can make your doubt-spreading funny it becomes all the more effective

many people only believe things because they think it makes them look good
if you can show that those beliefs actually make them look stupid they are likely to experience serious cognitive dissonance and possibly doubt

but again, the difficulty is in making up these questions, one-liners, and dialectics in a way that the target can understand and in a way that fully destroys a false assumption

i see memes as a modern form of this, but it would also be nice to have stories that are easy to circulate
