This is getting ridiculous. Peter Coates of @AppertaUK is using Apperta CIC funds to pursue a vendetta against a researcher who found and responsibly disclosed vulnerabilities in their security.

Nobody with any clue in the UK NHS open source health tech world will ever be working with @AppertaUK.

So Apperta may yet achieve the ultimate Pyrrhic victory: save the & #39;reputation& #39; of an organisation, and sign its death warrant in the same action.

The governance of @AppertaUK itself is interesting.

Until all this stuff blew up, they were still using the images and names of a number of their EX-directors on their & #39;About& #39; page, to lend a little more gravitas.

Those directors have requested their removal from Apperta& #39;s site

@AppertaUK is currently a fiefdom of Peter Coates, its Managing Director.

Despite being & #39;open& #39;, there is relatively little transparency around their finances.

When I did some work for them several years ago, I was unable to understand why my contract was with @AppertaUK ....

... but the funds came directly from @NHSDigital via NHS SBS. Weird, huh?

This was never satisfactorily explained to me.
