/6 I know Twitter shouldn’t be this deep, but last night I was called out/unfollowed by a couple of folk(1 in particular whom I never thought would
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😔" title="Nachdenkliches Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Nachdenkliches Gesicht">), after I was rude to a guy on the TL, which wasn’t appreciated by them. I don’t want beef, I just want to put my side across..
/6 A friend put a post on saying that he would like Tammy to play - a normal football opinion(surely?), which was met with a guy publicly saying to him “you don’t even mean that, just keeping your followers happy” & calling him a “plastic fan” who “uses YouTube for followers”.
/6 This was totally uncalled for on a lad who was simply giving his football opinion. My response to the guy wasn’t great. I said “wtf is wrong with you these days”. I shouldn’t have said that. These “plastic” & “fake” comments that were fired out in the first place annoyed me.
/6 I have never, & will never publicly slag someone off or become embroiled in these types of situations in public without another person making the first foul. I just don’t understand why if you don’t agree with a normal opinion, you can’t just scroll past without name calling.
/6 It was also said that I was chasing clout. I’ve been sounded out about going on a 100k+ following podcast, YouTube channels with 30k/50k respectively, & asked to write for a prominent Chelsea media account - I’ve said no to every single one of them. That stuff isn’t for me.
/6 Not naming names in the entirety of this thread, as posts back & forth & dragging things on isn’t of interest to me. I just wanted to put my side out there. I’ll still continue to follow that 1 person in particular as I really do consider them a mate. Have a nice Sunday
