Good news the whole thing is GOOD!! Last two eps were a little weaker than the rest imo but I really enjoyed the whole thing

so many props to Archie Renaux in particular for just *bringing* it with Mal, they clearly knew what was off in the books and just made so many improvements to his character and perspective

I really liked the Crows added storyline pretty much up until the last ep, having them interact w Kirigan was... weird

He is such a large figure & they are supposed to be very small at this point still

Mal/Kirigan fistfight in the sand made me lol in a bad way more than once

Darkling backstory flashback was clunky (bad hair bad HAIR) but necessary so not too fussed (CGI for dead bodies was SO bad in this bit, I said “YIKES” out loud at one point lmao)

Ben Barnes got me feelin some kinda way the whole time but his argument with Alina in the tent in particular was SO GOOD from both of them

I like the decision to make amplifiers that much more fucked up by having them need to be integrated *into* your body but I am a little sad to loose the Antler Collar As Jewelry Aesthetic(tm) for Alina
