London was being difficult today and instead of punishing her, I took some time just her and I and asked her what was wrong. She said that she was flusterated (frustrated).

I asked her why and she expressed that she wanted to do more big sister tasks like hold her little brother and change him and she cant because he’s too little and she’s not big enough and she’s not being a good big sister.

I explained to her that the tasks she’s been doing, like checking on him, giving him kisses, feeding him and so on are such amazing big sister tasks and that she’s doing amazing as a big sister.

I also explained that it’s ok to get frustrated and that she can tell mommy and daddy when she’s frustrated because we can help her figure out the problem.

I ask permission to her hold and hug her and she said yes and she just cried big tears until she was done and said that she was tired and wanted me to give her a bath so she could rest.

I made sure that her dad and I reassured her that her help with her little brother has been very important and we thank her immensely. She went to be in a much better mood so she could rest well.
