Last week, I managed to get a long overdue week off with my family. This past month, I’ve really focused on my wellbeing, upping the exercise I enjoy doing, eating more mindfully and fasting intermittently too.
No more evening working either. It’s noticeable on my return that my social feeds seem to be full of people experiencing and talking about burnout, as well as terrible health impacts like heart attacks.
And I think it’s no accident that one of the main search terms that lead people to my recent book, Steady, is burnout. I’ll be talking more about this in the coming weeks, but I want to share how much better I’ve been feeling over these past few weeks.
