theres a stray cat who visits my yard and i usually give him a can of tuna but i’m all out so tonight i fried him an egg and i dont think he knows what to do with it

ok he left and now there is just an egg on the ground

ok so i found a slug in the garden and i was gonna put him on the egg and be like “its ok the slug will eat the egg so its not going to waste” but as soon as the slug uncurled it went in the complete opposite direction. wtf is wrong with my egg

per someones advice earlier in the thread i put a bit of salt on the egg

went grocery shopping and put out some tuna to atone for my sins

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!! SOMEONE HAS FINALLY INTERACTED WITH THE EGG!! they knocked the egg off the plate. they are sending me a message. no more eggs.

UPDATE! THE OLD EGG HAS BEEN CONSUMED BY AN UNSEEN ENTITY. a cat? a squirrel? a rat? i simply dont know. it was there in the morning and now it is not. only one egg remains. what a journey!!
