TIKSHNA NAKSHATRAS: A thread
you might not like tikshna nakshatras, and thats okay, you’re probably not supposed to. but this thread will give deep insight onto why they are so vulturous and inauspicious
tikshna nakshatras (jyeshtha, ashlesha, mula, and ardra) are the most ferocious, viscous and relentless of the nakshatras. they are naturally destructive, and they clear the path to rebirth through death, who likes death?
tikshna translates to “intense” and these natives are met extreme intensities in every aspect of their lives, they often are first rejected by those who are supposed to protect them and so they learn early on how to defend themselves, soon to be hardwired warriors
these nakshatras are described as your typical social outcasts, the drug dealers, the harlots, the mean and cruel pessimists, seeing no resolve or purpose outside of themselves, and sometimes thats the complete truth. tikshna nakshatras are able to detach from their
composed, meticulously dressed “self” which society wants them to be, they are met with the most brutal of violence, loss, expolitation and poverty early in life and they often take the victimization they feel towards this with them as burdens on their karmic journey.
these nakshatras can be especially insensitive with their language, if you push them far enough they will rip you to shreds with their words and feel no remorse. alot of people cant tolerate this, theyre afraid to step to them for this reason, they feel small...
ardra natives are intensely sensitive, like a raw, open, nerve. these natives are on a never ending journey of finding the “right one” but no matter where they search, high and low, destruction and greif seem to follow them.
ardra natives are more likely to experience a grave and earth shattering loss very young in their lives, and this aggravates their need to be accepted and understood even more. the fear of losing is a major theme here, losing people and losing themselves
ardra natives often go through the phases of being unloved and untouched by the ones they need the most, so they respond to this by rebelling, acting out and going against the grain they were snuggly pressed against
they can only ever be redeemed from this hell cycle by being the “right one” for themselves, loving and embracing who they are without the need for someone else.
jyeshtha natives are escapists, they avoid the inner conflicts my suppressing them under work ethic and drive
jyeshtha natives are told no by society from the get. they have to get it out the mud, quite literally. the martian nature of these natives makes them passionately intense, hungry for the top and nothing less. their work never rests when they decide to to give their all
jyeshtha natives are inherently competitive because they are often pit against people in their lives or put in situations where they need to prove themselves, this makes thing seemingly bitter, selfish and catty.
they often work so hard to get where they are only to have their work belittled or compared to someone whos done much less, to this they are incredibly reactive and explosive because they feel once again their worth is at stake
eventually they get tired of proving themselves and they rise above this “negative” nature, their outer critic which can be quite harsh is only ever silenced when the inner critic telling them they are not enough is silenced.
ashlesha in any personal placement causes so much mental chaos, distress and rage within of course its a problematic one. that spiraling of the mind comes from an inner desire to connect with everything
around them, mercury is the connector and ashlesha itself literally means “intwine” they want to find a place to attach and be safe. though theyre rakshasa gana nakshatras with tikshna disposition, theyre naturally made to reject others and are in turn rejected by society
ashlesha natives often start out with a strained relationship to the parents, especially the father, they seek the validation and appreciation they never got through opening themselves up, but quickly realize that their ability to mend can be more of a crutch than a skill.
the themes with ashlesha natives are fear of rejection, they want to be seen and heard, so they have the sharpest tongues. but they need to learn to use this sharpness to cut through barriers instead of bridges
while ashlesha nakshatra natives are the preservers of nature, mula natives reject nature and natural order. they see society as a complete scam, the pioneers of radical acceptance and often the most authoritarian of the four. underneath theirs stubborness and cynicism
they are often just hurting, they are aching for someone to understand them. youll never fully or truly know a mula native because they are so deeply guarded, early on in life they feel unaccepted for their vastly differing views or ways of living, and so they wear a mask instead
the fear here, is someone, anyone seeing the brokenness that lays underneath. its that theyre fake or theyre shy, but they operate only in power and self restraint. when really theres brewing rage. it creates a tug of war between the desire to unleash and be without any restraint
they feel threatened at the idea of anyone opening them up and looking inside, so they present themselves as firm and unshakable, but the only way they can be liberated from repression is opening up and letting the flood out of the gates
mula natives usually find the most solice in devoting themselves to love and religion, the ones they seen as enemies all along. mula rules the mulahadra chakra, related to the roots, and connecting with their roots makes them soft
