The last episode of the Falcon show really solidified how shit a show it really was. Anything potentially even slightly subversive was turned into just shallow, clumsy nonsense. Bad show imo

Spend 5 episodes like "oooh this new captain America guy could be bad actually" then just say "nah sike he's good and better than all the horrible violent bad guys who are right but wrong cause they're violent???" just a real bad show

You've got a black supersoldier who was tortured, experimented on and imprisoned by the government for decades and has to hide or else be murdered by the state telling Falcon that no self respecting black guy would wear spangles and the Falcon is just like "mmm nah"

Then a bad speech where the writers think they're smart and a museum exhibit make the guy who was tortured for decades by the state be like "nah the US? Cool actually"

Absolutely the West Wing of superhero shows
