Just wanted to explain to you all intrusive thoughts and actions as someone with paranoia and OCD! (This is in relation to the talk on stream earlier )(A thread)
From http://ADAA.org :
"Unwanted intrusive thoughts are stuck thoughts that cause great distress. They come from out of nowhere, arrive with a whoosh, and cause a great deal of anxiety. The content of unwanted intrusive thoughts often focuses on sexual or violent inages" -

"People who experience unwanted intrusive thoughts are afraid that they might commit acts they picture in their mind" (sparrow note: this can cause them to self isolate, avoid people in their intrusive thoughts, have panic attacks or other episodes similar) -
"Some unwanted thoughts consist of repetitive doubts of relationships, decisions(sparrow note: ex. What if I would've said no to xyz would I be better?), sexual orientation or identity, questioning safety of you or others, religion (sparrow n:this is tied with superstition) or death
So now I've explained a basic premise : "who can suffer from intrusive thoughts? "
People who experience :
PTSD,BPD,anxiety disorder,OCD(can cause compulsions), ADHD,and many other mental health issues have been linked with intrusive thoughts. -

As someone who suffers with very gorey and detailed thoughts, this can lead me to making incredibly impulsive decisions, having no social filter *blurting out rude or inconsiderate things to others or my family*, and has caused me to isolate myself in fear of hurting others.
// gore bodily harm self harm
These thoughts (personally) range from stabbing myself, burning myself, ripping my finger nails off, to paranoid thoughts of getting in car crashes or watching someone get hit. Speech wise I've said detailed and gorey things aloud I had imaged.

When someone shares their impulsive or intrusive thoughts realize they cannot control these thoughts but only learn how to cope or suppress them in certain instances. It is a state of vulnerability to share such personal thoughts with a vast audience. Please do research about it!
