In the province of Tucumán, in Argentina, police arrested two men who planned to carry out an attack on the jewish community during Shabbat. Dozens of short and long firearms, knives of different kinds and Nazi literature were found at their homes.
The investigation into the case began LAST YEAR, following a complaint made by the Delegation of Israeli-Argentinian Associations (DAIA) to the justice of the City of Buenos Aires, which was then referred to Tucumán.
While the investigations had been going on for a long time, this week there was a situation that alerted justice, as new messages were detected in which the suspects spoke of an imminent attack that would occur in Tucumán during Shabbat.
According to local media, police security in synagogues has been strengthened since yesterday.
