As long as Biden is polling over 50% progressive members of Congress are gonna treat him with kid gloves as a matter of political survival and expedience. Don't freak out every time they say something nice about him. They are trying to draw flies with honey, or whatever

If progressives are nice to Biden right now they have a better chance of getting better policy through than if they are constantly, that is policy that helps people, which means they practically have a moral imperative to be nice to him. Those are the breaks.

And yeah, I get that that doesn't sit well with you. It doesn't sit well with me! But we lost the primary. This is what losing feels like. Don't get angry at the people trying to make the best out of losing.
