As long as Biden is polling over 50% progressive members of Congress are gonna treat him with kid gloves as a matter of political survival and expedience. Don& #39;t freak out every time they say something nice about him. They are trying to draw flies with honey, or whatever

If progressives are nice to Biden right now they have a better chance of getting better policy through than if they are constantly, that is policy that helps people, which means they practically have a moral imperative to be nice to him. Those are the breaks.

And yeah, I get that that doesn& #39;t sit well with you. It doesn& #39;t sit well with me! But we lost the primary. This is what losing feels like. Don& #39;t get angry at the people trying to make the best out of losing.
