Guys, I don't know if you've thought about this before, but capitalism like exacerbates pre-existing psychic vulnerabilities that might not be reducible to the capitalist mode of production. Is anyone talking about this?

It might even be that the symptomaticity of capital, so far as it is a bounded historical mode of production, actively produces psychic realities that perpetuate inadequate medicalization. I’m just spitballing but it seems viable.

Fuck, what if, holy shit, this just occurred to me: what if the capitalist subject produces the meaning of exploitation figured by the worker’s subjection, which, in turn, requires an attendant discursive production of the healthy subject to perpetuate capital itself.
