this new "anti asian hate" bill is one of the most deceptive things ever. I really hate it.
1) when I get deeper into the bill, you can see thats its basically just a way to get police more funding when most of the AAPI ppl I know REJECT that as a "solution" !

2) how are we gonna say more police is the solution when police are killing black ppl? with this statement, it's saying "that doesnt matter, we aren't Black, protect us tho!" sorry but NO.

3) the way they phrased it to make anybody sound fucked up if they reject the "anti asian hate" bill, as in they dont support Asians! untrue. I don't support ramping up law enforcement. more police does not mean anything good.

4) let me remind everybody that Black Lives Matter! to address the issue of Asian hate in such a executive way publicly, and not address the anti-Blackness our own country seems really calculated to keep us really mad (understatement) at each other

5) in short, I hope none of us are falling into the Anti-Black propaganda or the Anti-Asian propaganda. This bill helps nobody. And it undoes any work anybody has done to defund the police.
