Ok. I remember how terrible I felt when I knew the first Indy-ref was lost. I felt ill for days. I could not believe that so many other Scots wished to stay under Westminster Control.
Within days the famous ‘Vow’ had been forgotten-yet no-one seemed to care.
The only thing that gave me hope was Nicola Sturgeon’s commitment to work on For Scottish Independence, and never to preside over another losing referendum.
Of course I was hoping that would be within a couple of years-but realistically it would have been doomed,
as it is only in this past year support has been high enough to win.
That rise in support has been the result of Nicola Sturgeon’s handling of the Covid pandemic- along with her determination to work for the Scottish people.

This election is different.
The SNP are the only party that can actually deliver Independence. They need as many 1&2 votes behind them as possible to show the strength of the Scottish people’s desire for Independence.
It is not about parties or leaders. Only about getting rid of the Union.
No other party has any chance of achieving this. Voting for other parties will only dilute the SNP vote. Do not risk losing everything.

Why? Because after this election- if SNP do not get a decent majority- Westminster will use the Internal Market Bill to over-run our devolved
powers- decimate Holyrood- and Scotland as a separate country will be gone forever. It will be absorbed as Northern Britain.
Indeed-English weather forecasts are already referring to Scotland as ‘Northern Britain’ in their broadcasts.
There will be no Scottish parties left to vote for.

In Independent Scotland-there will be new elections where you can vote for a party you believe will build the Scotland you want.Without Indy-it’s WM forever. That is the difference now from 2014. There will be no third chance.
I will be voting both votes SNP -not for the party- but for Indy, which is my only concern. I may choose a different party after Indy.
Imagine wakening on May 7th- to know that we’d be losing free prescriptions, personal care, free education, SNHS. Imagine waking to the knowledge
WM will rule Scotland. Imagine wakening to know Scotland has lost the EU for good and is hitched to Brexit England. Why would anyone risk that-and choose never to make our own decisions as a nation?
It’s up to us. Our vote is our strongest weapon on May 6th. Be sure you know what you are choosing. Your choice. Mine is #BothVotesSNP
