I'm going to catch flack for this but I've made this known from day 1.

And I can bet my whole ass that if the situations were reversed, Milan fans would have been begging the mgmt to sign Gigio 'at all costs' had he run down a contract with Inter/Juve.

Milan - in not renewing Gigio & finding a way to ship him off for a hefty fee in a few years time - in my humble opinion, show a complete lack of ambition.

And I find it disconcerting that people actually think Milan will find a goalkeeper at his level, nevermind on the cheap.

I mean, good luck though. Just don't complain when defensive ineptitude isn't masked by moments of goalkeeping brilliance.

Let's not even talk about what this means for Milan's quote-unquote project.

Letting yours & the *Italian* NT's biggest asset walk for a free transfer is just not a great look.

And to just add one more thing.

He can indeed have love for AC Milan without having to play out 1/4 of his career in a mediocre (for the most part, lets face it) team.
