Majority of SM feed is people begging for resources ( #Oxygen, #plasma, #beds, #drugs) and the only solution, if any, is to reach out to every contact available, and return dishearted each time. Do people who are in the middle of a crisis deserve this? (2/n)

If our Tech cannot solve our problems is it even Tech? Is Tech only going to be provided when there is any revenue stream available to the creator? So many Tech Giants and Tech Startups and not one of them could create an unified platform with verified sources? (3/n)

If Metal companies can come out and share their #Oxygen produce with the States, why not Tech Teams spend a day or two and build a platform for all? Yes, it is of no use once the pandemic ends, but is this stopping all of them? (4/n)

Why only #IT companies and not individual devs to do this? I myself have visited few of those domains; my observations being these platforms themselves have no reach and have very less #verified data with them. (5/n)

When millions who felt breathless when #TikTok disappeared, could be unified in under a week, can it not be done in a similar way to help us fight this #pandemic in a more organized way? (6/n)

Everyone I reached out to for help, on any SM, just shared frwrded msgs that "claim" to solve my requirement. In reality none of them helped. Forwarded over a million times but sad to say that maybe not even a life was saved with most of them turning out to be fake. (7/n)

Govt Spy app #AarogyaSetu is of wht practical use today? Othr than being involved in Security and Privacy breaches there is no story of this app achieving anythng beneficial for the community? Is everyone checkng hotspots on Setu app and going out or am I missing something? (8/n)

If this is the max that Govt could achieve using Tech, hats off! Govt failures can be a never ending thread in itself but it's saddening that Tech corporates haven't taken up any role to solve the glaring issues. CSR is building temporary hospitals only, not solving tech? (9/n)

Am a dev myself but even if I come out with any solution, it will never get a reach to solve the problems for the most of us. Not targetting @sharechatapp with this thread, it's just a reference to say that things can be so much better if the right people want it to. (10/n)

Till today Covid didn't cause any trouble to people in my immediate circle. I was unmoved with all of wht was happening around me. When I am in the midst of a crisis, I can only feel pity for the state we are in. I just want to yell Please Help. #PleaseHelp. People are suffering.
