Cleaning duty is a mission of a doll
Being incompetent will make you go
Diligent and loyal to the Shadow Masters
To not think about anything clueless regardless
When soot begins to gather in dark places
They are to dispose of them while using their faces

The episode began with a brief explanation of what the next minutes will be about which was a tour of the house. This mansion has many hidden and dark places where dolls are prohibited to wander and yet they are reminded to once again not fret over trivial matters.

We know that their duty first and foremost is to clean the mansion and rooms of their masters and they use brooms for that with each having their own but there was a very weird bunch that clearly looked like weapons aimed to kill...not neccesarily used for cleaning, right?

The mansion has multiple floors and the dolls live below the Shadow's family living quaters which makes sense considering that they are mere servants.
There is one point on one of the floor that stands out which I assume would be the "Debut Hall" whatever that means.

So the dolls are to wear potraits when serving as a face look at the word used here that clearly shows they they are of use to the Shadows. Also the debut was mentioned once again which clearly is an important matter, I'm afraid a doll changes after that...

When discussing the debut few things were brought up:
1. Is that after the debut the Shadow is said to have a face and attain maturity NOT when they receive a living doll which is a contradicion to the beginning of the show
2. Both the doll and Shadow will be judged.

Perhaps the reason why these "don't fret over trivial matters" things are being brought up is for the safety of Dolls in one way? Cuz if they're not loyal they would be discarded which makes total sense if a servant is useless they would be disposed of but...something is wrong.

He whose name should not be spoken of.
Is basically the Lord of Shadows the Lord Granfather who is responsible for the creation of Dolls.
Its a mysterious being that we don't know much about but clearly those after debut know so was he the judge during that period?

Very unexpected situation happens and we encounter something called a Phantom.
Phantom is an entity created when too much soot gathers in one place.
For some reason these dolls EVEN AFTER DEBUT never encoutnered one which is absolutely something wrong.
Scaary being.

Another term was brought up "Star Bearer"
Star Bearer is a high level Living Doll, most likely long after the debut who is responsible for ordering lower ones to fight against Phantoms.
The only known one so far is Barbie who we met at the end of ep 1 with evil gaze.

Phantoms have ill intention and its important to fight together cuz in other case they may posses you and try to kill you like the one with Spider like appearence.
Why such information and existence of such beings is being hidden while being so appearent? Is a mystery.

Line from the trailer was said by Lou regarding who to save. Since she doesn't like making choices and is very slow she asked Emilico to do it for her. I don't know whats the deal with her is but she seems very eh robotic? In the way she approaches things like very hollow.

Soot sickness occurs when one gets into a contact with a Phantom or a huge amount of soot and renders them braindead. That is what happens with Dolls but they can be saved which brings a question...why the HELL are Shadows Family members covered in soot?!

During the bath there was an imporant matter brought regarding how a doll starts serving.
I will bring up the debut once again, even Mia after being over it couldn't properly answer and speaks in a way that would make it that she is learning along with Emilco...weird.

I'm going to be shooting blindly.
I think that these scars were caused by Sarah and Mia is just hiding her frustration since she cannot disobey her doll because it could maker her being discarded.
Fear is a powerful way to control a slave and I'm sure some Shadows use it.

Rosemary was fine after being treated by first-aid team.
We learnt that the soot sickness occurs when scorches enter your body and if that doesn't get treated the doll will break which would essentially be a death.
Now then why is this information kept hidden?

For some reason Kate can move soot which brings a question is someone creating Phantoms?
On the other hand some knowledge is being kept away even from the Shadows as said by Kate that shadow lore doesn't say anything about such occurences. So many mysteries.

The debut was mentioned quite many times throughout the episode and at the end we got a first glimpse at the lords of the house along with some guy who was chosen as Judge during the next debut and since Kate and Emilico is drawing close will these 2 meet?

Soot is here, soot is there, soot is everywhere.
To clean, to wash, to fight away.
The dolls are obliged to continue doing this way
Without a thought, without a doubt
To never oppose the Lords above.
