@trippkilpatrick @stephenrsii @jax_drum @sunrosejaxon there’s been a lot of miscommunication in this and tbh u guys are talking about things that have nothing to do with what us were pointing out so im gonna try to summarize it a bit.

first of all, no one is mad at the lyrics, we know jaxon is the writer (for the lyrics with the n word) and that wasn’t even pointed out. second, no one is mad at the power lyrics, tbh music is a form of art and expressing social discontent in art is very positive.

what we did point out was taking advantage of someone’s death to promote music, BUT even then i and so many others could see the good intentions behind it, the mistake was not even giving this comments a thought, cause after all, they did offend a lot of black people,

tripp immediately started tweeting ab it, insulting us for calling him out and trying to educate him, and now y’all, are acting the same way, using insults to defend yourselves not even listening to what we have to say.
