I try not to whine too much about it but the fact that we're not doing in-home vaccination visits for disabled people who cannot go to a mass vacc point is endlessly infuriating and shows exactly where our priorities lie, as freaking always.
OF COURSE a huge swath of the most physically vulnerable, immunocompromised people are being locked out and left behind from a virus that has the potential to do the worst damage to them specifically because of ableist requirements (also cars!). Because of course they are.
(It's me, and my mom, and millions of others who are being locked out and left behind because public vaccination setups are NOT AT ALL ACCESSIBLE to us, but nobody seems to care because Eh, we're chronically ill drains on the system anyway, right? Yep)
...And now my new PFP feels exceptionally relevant and fitting lmao

If you're ableist you're no longer allowed to romance Tali and every Quarian will forever vent their farts in your direction.
(I love Quarians so fucking much? Entire species of immunocompromised spoonies surviving in a galaxy that's inherently toxic to them. And I really wish I had one of those suits, it'd make life much easier. :c)
...Friends, with love, I'm very happy that in home vaccinations are offered in some of your areas, but it is not the point of my thread.

I'm in Oregon, which has consistently screwed up the rollout, and as a disabled person I feel extremely let down, abandoned and devalued.
I'm truly happy for you if you've managed to get an appointment or have been offered an in home or otherwise accessible vaccination.

It also makes me feel even worse to hear in a thread specifically about the fact that i and many others in Oregon do not get the same chance.
