I promise you there are a tangible number of #MNTwjns fans turning off their TV’s this wknd because of the large “Justice for George Floyd” sign displaying prominently on every cut to the outfield cameras at Target Field.

Nobody would tune out because it wasn’t there.

To just pretend that half of your fanbase has either...

A. the wrong political opinion

and/or

B. that their money, time and fandom means less than fans with other political opinions

...is terrible business. But we now encourage it in America today.

“Why do politically conservative fans mean less to the Minnesota Twins organization than the liberal fans?”

That’s the question I’d like to ask.
