i liked shadow and bone except the racism in it like ??? it's so random ?? in a fantasy world, racism STILL exists??? and somehow it only applies to a half asian half white character ?? i can tell this was written by white people

no black person experienced it so maybe they wanted to focus on asian racism but there are already fully asian people in the cast but she was only one who received a lot of racist remarks and a half south asian half white character referred to her as a "halfie" ?? this is so dumb
