In the 2019 GE, this guy got in touch asking for an interview about the @Yorkshire_Party in an iconic location. Despite me suggesting various ideas over two weeks, he refused all and only suggested a working men's club (repeatedly).

Ultimately, I asked: "would you take the SNP to a haggis factory?"

No interest in listening to how the Yorkshire Party wanted to challenge the N/S divide and improve our region. Clearly just wanted us to pander to the flat cap wearing grim up north stereotype.

You do need a sense of humour in politics but I also refuse to pander to stereotypes because #Yorkshire has so much more to offer than just cheap clichés.
